The Sudbury Modular Railroad Club attended the 2007 Midland Model Train Show.  This was a large show with 20 modular layouts in various scales (G, HO, and N) and over 60 tables of vendors.  The show filled the entire arena floor.

The modular club took the N Scale layout to the show for the weekend event. Club attendees included:
Richard Lefebvre
Trevor Ross
Zachary Ross
Dave Karen
Peter Pentilla
Garth Harris
Al Melanson
Jackie Melanson
Brian Yoeman

Mike, Richard, Dave, Peter, Garth, Trevor, and Zachary traveled to Midland to set-up on Friday. Transporting the layout is now easy with the use of a 7'x14' enclosed trailer. Enough room to hold everything - and room to spare! This was the first time that we had the entire layout assembled and running trains on the Friday night.

Ian, Al, Jackie, and Brian joined us on Saturday, resulting in a total club attendance of 11 people. This was a great attendance for an out of town event, and the additional help was much appreciated. The Midland Train Show is one of the largest shows North of Toronto. The Midland Recreation Centre is a great venue, and the show occupies an entire ice rink with vendors surrounding the entire perimeter, and about 20 layouts within the arena.

We look forward to attending this show again next year.
